Cairns is beautiful! I've just arrived and already I've booked myself onto a diving course that starts tomorrow! I had a little wonder through to the front and the moutains in the distance are stunning. The sea water is incredibly still, apparently the reef prevents the waves reaching shore. Its much warmer up here, 30 degrees cool!
Anyway, my course starts first thing tomorrow morning, for five days, two nights of which are spent on board a luxurious boat. It sounds great, although I'm praying its not too rocky at night! According to the scheldule there's a night dive included as well. Sounds fantastic, I'm really excited. I'll update you when I return!
